I am Huge Springsteen fan, and have been for as long as I remember, so how I haven't come across this version of this song until now is beyond me.
I adore it. I adore every single thing about it.
It was regularly performed on the band's 1999 Reunion tour. The Boss, Little Steven, Clarence Clemons and Patti (his wife) took turns singing parts of the song.
I read that he wrote this song as a love song for his wife, and once described it as "one of the best songs about the dedication to one another that comes with love".
